Terms & Conditions
Effective date: 24 August 2026
Last updated: 25 August 2026
These Terms and Conditions (the Terms) govern your use of the RevBase mobile app, website, web app and related services (together, RevBase or the Service).
The Service is provided by RevBase Automotive Ltd, trading as RevBase, a company registered in England and Wales (company number 17417298) whose registered office is Lantern House, Holcombe, Radstock, BA3 5DE (we, us, our).
By creating an account, you agree to these Terms, acknowledge our Privacy Policy, and confirm that you are at least 18 years old. If you do not agree, do not create an account or use the Service.
1. Who may use RevBase
You must be at least 18 and able to enter into a binding agreement. You must provide accurate signup information and must not create an account for someone else without their permission.
RevBase is currently offered to users in the United Kingdom. The Service and these Terms are provided in English.
2. Your account
You are responsible for keeping your login details secure and for activity carried out through your account. Tell us promptly at contact@revbase.co.uk if you suspect unauthorised access.
You may update your information in the Service and may delete your account at any time. Deleting a RevBase account does not necessarily cancel an Apple App Store or Google Play subscription. Cancel the subscription separately through the relevant store before deleting your account.
3. Community Standards
Our Community Standards form part of these Terms. In particular, you must not use RevBase to:
- post or share unlawful, threatening, abusive, hateful, discriminatory, sexually explicit, fraudulent or privacy-invasive material;
- harass, deceive, impersonate or endanger another person;
- upload another person's vehicle, photograph or personal information without permission;
- encourage or organise unlawful street racing, dangerous driving or other illegal activity;
- distribute malware, interfere with the Service, scrape member data or attempt unauthorised access; or
- infringe intellectual-property or other legal rights.
A prohibited-word filter may prevent some content from being posted. Automated controls are not perfect and do not replace member reports or human moderation.
Clubs may set additional rules. Commercial posts, sponsorships and vehicle-sale content may be permitted by an individual club's rules, but RevBase does not endorse or verify any seller, buyer, product, service or transaction and is not a party to arrangements between members.
4. Content you provide
You retain ownership of content you create. You grant us a worldwide, non-exclusive, royalty-free licence to host, store, reproduce, process and display that content only as reasonably necessary to provide, secure and improve the Service. This licence ends when the content is deleted, except where a limited copy remains in routine backups or where forum text is retained under section 15.
You confirm that you have the rights and permissions needed to provide your content. Do not post personal information about another person without a lawful reason and their permission.
5. Clubs, profiles and sharing
Profile information is shown to another member only where you share a club. Members can see only clubs they have in common.
Your garage is private by default. When you deliberately share a vehicle with a club, club members may see its main photo, make, model, description and gallery photos. They do not see its registration, tax or insurance information, costs, service history or MOT history. You can withdraw a shared vehicle at any time.
Event attendance and the vehicle selected for an event are visible to members of the relevant club. A Track session remains private unless a member with an active Track or Pro plan deliberately shares it with a club; it can be unshared at any time.
6. Events and real-world activity
Except for events expressly identified as official RevBase Club events, clubs, meets, convoys, drives and events are created and managed by users, not RevBase. We do not normally inspect organisers, venues, routes, vehicles or attendees. Details supplied by an organiser may be incomplete or inaccurate.
Participation is voluntary and at your own risk. You are responsible for deciding whether an activity is suitable and for ensuring that your vehicle is roadworthy, taxed, insured and driven lawfully. Organisers remain responsible for their own events.
Official RevBase Club events may have additional event-specific rules, venue requirements or waivers. We may remove an event or club from the Service where it breaches these Terms or creates a legal, security or safety concern.
7. Navigation and safe driving
Maps, routes, speed limits, directions, ETAs, road information and camera positioning are driving aids only. They may be inaccurate, incomplete, delayed or out of date. Always obey the law, road signs, restrictions, conditions and instructions from the emergency services.
Set destinations and configure the Service only while safely parked. While driving, use only lawful hands-free controls, such as Android Auto or Apple CarPlay, and never allow the Service to distract you. You remain responsible for your route, driving and vehicle.
8. Track Mode — off-road use only
Track Mode is for lawful off-road venues and closed courses only. It must never be used on a public highway.
This warning is displayed whenever a Track session starts. By selecting Start recording, you confirm that you are at a lawful off-road venue or closed course and accept responsibility for using the feature safely and lawfully.
Track data, including route, speed, lap timing and calculated G-force, is informational and may be inaccurate. It is not professional timing, safety or vehicle-diagnostic equipment.
9. Convoy Mode and SOS
When joining a convoy, you must actively select either ETA only or live location and ETA. The join screen explains who can see the selected information. Visibility may also depend on convoy roles, such as leader or designated spotter.
Sharing stops when you leave or the convoy ends. Live visibility ends immediately; residual server location and SOS-response records are automatically deleted approximately 24 hours after the convoy ends.
Activating SOS may temporarily make your full live location visible to convoy members so they can respond. SOS alerts convoy members only. It does not contact the emergency services. In an emergency, call 999.
10. Free features and membership plans
The free tier currently includes up to two vehicles, a main photo per vehicle with limited photo quantity and quality, service-history records, basic Track recording, full Convoy Mode and club features including the forum and events. Free users can view content shared by others, including shared Track sessions.
RevBase offers three paid membership plans. Each plan includes everything in the plans below it:
- Essentials currently adds MOT lookup and stored MOT history, PDF export of service records, and photographs on service records.
- Track currently adds detailed Track analysis (sector times, the driven line and re-timing), sharing Track sessions with a club, and long-term retention of raw Track recordings.
- Pro currently adds unlimited vehicles, vehicle photo galleries, additional forum images, original-quality and higher-resolution photo uploads, and build-log sharing with build photographs.
Current limits and feature availability are shown in the Service. We may develop, replace or discontinue features. We will give reasonable notice where a material change affects paid members.
11. Subscriptions
The current UK prices are: Essentials £0.99 per month or £9.99 per year; Track £1.99 per month or £19.99 per year; Pro £3.99 per month or £39.99 per year. The complete price, including applicable taxes, is the price displayed by Apple or Google before purchase.
Apple or Google processes payment. RevenueCat helps us manage subscription status and entitlements. We do not receive or store your full card details.
Subscriptions renew automatically unless cancelled through the Apple App Store or Google Play before renewal. Cancellation takes effect at the end of the paid billing period. There is no introductory free trial. You may switch between plans through the relevant store; the store determines when a switch takes effect and how any remaining paid period is applied.
Refund requests are handled through the relevant app store, subject to its processes. This does not affect consumer rights that cannot lawfully be restricted.
12. When a paid plan ends or moves down
When a plan ends, or you move to a plan that does not include a feature you were using:
- Except for MOT features (see section 13), each affected feature continues to work for a 14-day grace period. Nothing is locked or deleted during that period.
- After 14 days, the affected features are locked. Vehicles beyond the free allowance, galleries and other plan-gated information remain stored but may be unavailable in the Service.
- Ninety days after the relevant plan ended, if you have not resubscribed: gallery photos beyond each vehicle's main photo and the stored copy of MOT history are permanently deleted (where your plan no longer includes them), and raw Track recordings beyond the session summary are permanently deleted (where your plan no longer includes their retention). Session summaries, lap times and anything shared before the deletion are unaffected except as described in the Service.
Your account, vehicles, each vehicle's main photo and complete service history remain while your account exists. Vehicles beyond the free allowance are not deleted merely because a plan ends. Resubscribing before the 90-day deletion restores access to information that has not yet been deleted.
13. MOT history
MOT lookup and stored MOT history require an active Essentials, Track or Pro plan. Unlike other features, MOT features have no grace period: they are available only while a plan is active, and stop immediately when it ends. The stored copy is deleted under section 12 if you do not resubscribe.
MOT information is a copy of the official record supplied by the Driver and Vehicle Standards Agency (DVSA). We do not create or verify that record. It may contain errors and is not proof of ownership, roadworthiness, value or condition.
Use MOT lookup only for a vehicle in your own garage that you own, are buying or otherwise have a legitimate reason to record. We may limit lookup frequency to protect the DVSA service. If an official record is wrong, contact DVSA or the testing garage; we cannot alter the source record, although you can delete RevBase's stored copy.
14. Moderation, complaints and enforcement
Club admins handle ordinary reports within their clubs and may remove content or suspend a member from that club. Only RevBase may suspend or delete an account across the platform. RevBase retains final oversight and may act where an admin has not acted.
Signed-in users may raise a confidential platform case for the limited categories offered in the app. Each case has a private thread accessible only to the reporter and the RevBase team. Replies and submitted evidence cannot be edited after sending, and a closed case becomes read-only unless RevBase reopens it. This is a case-handling feature, not a general private messaging service.
Supporting evidence must be relevant and lawful to share. RevBase may retain the exact original image, a cryptographic hash and a metadata-stripped viewing copy to preserve the integrity of the case record. Evidence is supporting material and is not automatically treated as verified fact.
Illegal content and immediate safety concerns should be reported directly to contact@revbase.co.uk. Where a report describes an immediate risk to a person, we aim to review it within 24 hours; we aim to review other serious reports, including illegal content, within one working day, and routine reports within three working days.
Where we remove content, issue a warning or restrict an account, the affected user may make one complaint to contact@revbase.co.uk. We aim to complete that review within seven working days. This is a one-stage review and there is no further internal appeal.
We may remove content, warn users, suspend access or permanently ban accounts. Serious illegal, safety or security matters may result in immediate action; repeated lesser breaches may result in warnings followed by restriction. Except where inappropriate for legal, security or safety reasons, we will explain the action taken. A suspended or banned user remains responsible for cancelling any app-store subscription.
15. Account deletion
Account deletion removes the profile and profile photo, vehicles and vehicle photos, tax, insurance, service and MOT records, saved Track sessions, club memberships and event RSVPs. Attachments to forum contributions are deleted because they may contain personal information.
Forum post and comment text may remain so discussions continue to make sense, but it is disconnected from the account and attributed to Former member. Existing event listings may remain. A club created by the deleted user is transferred to another club admin where one is available.
Deleted information may remain in encrypted backups for up to 30 days before being overwritten. We may retain limited information where reasonably required by law, fraud prevention, dispute handling or enforcement.
16. Intellectual property
The RevBase software, design and branding belong to us or our licensors. You may not copy, modify, reverse-engineer or redistribute them except where the law expressly permits it.
The Service uses third-party materials, including Mapbox, OpenStreetMap data and open-source software, under their respective licences. Required attributions are displayed in the Service.
17. Availability and third-party services
We aim to provide a reliable production service but do not promise uninterrupted or error-free availability. RevBase depends on services including Supabase, Cloudflare, Mapbox, OpenStreetMap/Nominatim, Sentry, Resend, RevenueCat, DVSA, Apple and Google. Their outages, restrictions or changes may affect RevBase.
18. Our responsibility to you
Nothing in these Terms excludes or limits liability where doing so would be unlawful, including liability for death or personal injury caused by negligence, fraud or fraudulent misrepresentation. Nothing affects your statutory consumer rights.
If we breach these Terms, we are responsible for loss or damage that was a foreseeable result when you accepted them. We are not responsible for loss that was not foreseeable, for business losses arising from consumer use, or for matters outside our reasonable control. We are not responsible for the independent conduct of members, clubs, event organisers or traders, or for decisions made contrary to road laws, signs or safe-driving requirements.
19. Changes to the Terms
We may update these Terms to reflect product, legal or operational changes. We will show the new version and date. Material changes will be notified in the Service and require acceptance before continued use.
20. Governing law
These Terms are governed by the laws of England and Wales. The courts of England and Wales have jurisdiction, without affecting any mandatory consumer rights you have where you live.
21. Contact
Questions, reports or complaints may be sent to contact@revbase.co.uk.
