Community Standards

Effective date: 24 August 2026
Last updated: 24 August 2026

These Community Standards form part of the RevBase Terms and Conditions. They apply to profiles, clubs, forums, comments, events, photographs, shared vehicles and Track sessions.

1. Respect people and their rights

Do not post or promote content that is unlawful, threatening, abusive, hateful, discriminatory, sexually explicit, fraudulent, defamatory or invasive of privacy. Do not harass, intimidate, deceive or impersonate another person.

Do not share another person's vehicle, photograph, identity or personal information without permission. You may upload your own photographs only where you have the right to do so and the people shown have been treated lawfully and respectfully.

2. Drive lawfully

Do not use RevBase to organise, encourage or glorify unlawful street racing, dangerous driving or other illegal activity on public roads.

Track Mode is exclusively for lawful off-road venues and closed courses. It must never be used on a public highway.

3. Protect the Service and its members

Do not:

  • distribute malware, spam, scams or fraudulent links;
  • scrape, harvest, sell or misuse member information;
  • attempt unauthorised access or interfere with security or availability;
  • evade a suspension, ban, content control or club restriction; or
  • infringe copyright, trade marks or other legal rights.

4. Commercial activity

A club may decide whether to allow adverts, sponsorships, business promotions or vehicle sales within that club. Follow its rules.

RevBase does not endorse or verify a trader, listing, vehicle, product or service and is not a party to a transaction. Members must perform their own checks and report suspected fraud.

5. Club moderation

Club admins manage ordinary reports and rule breaches within their own clubs. They may remove content and suspend a member from that club. Admins must apply club rules fairly and must not misuse moderation powers to harass, discriminate or conceal illegal content.

RevBase retains platform-wide oversight and may remove content, clubs or events, issue warnings, restrict access, suspend accounts or permanently ban users. Serious illegal, safety or security issues may lead to immediate action. Repeated lesser breaches may lead to warnings followed by restriction.

6. Reporting and complaints

Use the in-app reporting controls for ordinary club, profile, event, photograph, post or comment reports. We aim for club admins to review routine reports within three working days.

Send illegal content or an immediate safety concern directly to contact@revbase.co.uk. Where a report describes an immediate risk to a person, we aim to review it within 24 hours; we aim to review other serious reports, including illegal content, within one working day. In an emergency, contact the emergency services; RevBase cannot provide emergency assistance.

If RevBase removes your content, warns you or restricts your account, you may make one complaint by emailing contact@revbase.co.uk. We aim to complete the review within seven working days. We may be unable to disclose confidential information about another person.

We acknowledge reports and tell reporters whether they were reviewed and whether action was taken, without disclosing private or security-sensitive details.

7. Illegal content

RevBase may preserve and disclose relevant information where reasonably necessary to investigate unlawful activity, protect someone from harm or comply with a legal obligation. Where required, detected and previously unreported child sexual exploitation or abuse content may be reported to the appropriate authority.
