The paperwork
What we store, who processes it, and the terms you agree to by using the app. Written plainly, because nobody reads the other kind.
Delete your account
In the app: open your Profile, choose Delete account under Account actions, and confirm. You will be asked to sign in again first: deletion is irreversible, so we make sure it is really you. Your account, profile, cars, photos, track sessions and settings are permanently removed. Forum posts and comments stay in their threads shown as "Deleted user", with nothing left that connects them to you. Removing them would tear holes in other people's conversations. Clubs you ran alone are deleted; clubs with other admins are handed over.
Without the app: if you have uninstalled it or lost access, use the contact form (choose "Privacy or data request") or email contact@revbase.co.uk from the address on the account. We verify it is your account, then delete it within one month, normally much sooner.
Deletion removes personal data. Records we are legally required to keep, such as safety-report audit trails, are retained only as long as the law requires, detached from your deleted profile wherever possible.
Cookies and tracking
This website sets no cookies by default, and asks before setting any. The one optional cookie is a Meta (Facebook) advertising pixel, used so RevBase can reach previous visitors of this site with adverts. It loads only if you choose Accept on the cookie banner. Decline it, or ignore it, and the site makes no third-party requests at all: the fonts are served from this domain, so no outside company learns your IP address when you load a page.
You can change your choice at any time with the Cookie choices link in the footer of every page. The choice itself is stored on your device only. If you accept, Meta receives the usual pixel data (pages visited on this site, and a cookie identifying your browser) and uses it as described in Meta's privacy policy; the Privacy Policy's cookies section has the detail.
The RevBase app itself contains no third-party advertising or tracking SDKs. The processors it does rely on (hosting, maps, crash reporting and app-store billing) are named in the published Privacy Policy.
Who to contact
For anything privacy- or terms-related, including UK GDPR requests, use the contact form or write to contact@revbase.co.uk. If you are unhappy with how we have handled a data request, you can complain to the Information Commissioner's Office at ico.org.uk.
